In 2014, We're Making Boston Stronger
For the tenth year in a row, your support will fuel the Boston Rescue Mission Marathon team to run on behalf of the neediest women and men in our community. This year, Mission President John Samaan, Board Member Trip Hargrave, and friends of the Mission Sue Evans, Will Bihrle, and Karan Arakotaram will run to prevent and end homelessness on Patriots Day, April 21, 2014.
Three of this year's team members ran also in 2013, when much of the world witnessed two explosions near the finish line that shattered life, limb, property, and for many, faith. We will be forever grateful that our team members and their loved ones were out of harm's way. But it's no surprise that many 2013 runners have strengthened their determination to run in 2014.
You can join our team's determination to end homelessness in Boston. Your gifts provide hot meals, warm beds, and life transforming programs to women and men who are struggling and need a second chance.
