Food Service Worker
Position Title: Food Service Worker
Hours: Part time
Reports to: Food Service Manager
Primary Function: Responsible for the preparation of meals and all meal service related activities for the guests, staff, and special events of the Mission.
Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED and minimum 3 years hands on experience. Must possess working knowledge of food handling and safety requirements. Must have had training in food sanitation and storage from a recognized and acceptable source. Able to prepare food for a large group of up to 150 meals at a time. Ability to lift 32 pounds of weight.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist Food Service Manager in all aspects of purchasing, storing, preparing and serving meals.

Perform kitchen tasks as necessary at the request of the Food Service Manager such as inventory checks, rotation and cleaning.

Work with any volunteers, staff, and guests who are serving in the kitchen.

Become ServSafe certified.
