Thank you for taking the time to explore volunteer opportunities at the Boston Rescue Mission. We often hear from our Volunteers that they receive a personal reward by working at the Mission and getting to know the staff and clients. They comment on the sense of family shared between staff, clients, guests and volunteers that helps to make this house a "home" for so many. While volunteering at the Mission can be a valuable experience for the individual, we would not be able to help as many clients and guests as we do without such tremendous volunteer support, and for that we are extremely grateful.
Jaclyn Grant, who recently volunteered at BRM, wrote "Thank you for all you do! Thank you for continuing to provide support and show love to those who are in need in Boston. May the Lord bless and multiply your efforts."
If you are interested in becoming a regular volunteer at the Boston Rescue Mission please review the volunteer opportunities listed below and complete an application. Our volunteer coordinator will check the references included on the application and then contact the applicant to schedule an interview and orientation.
Feel free to download a more extensive list of guidelines for volunteering in our volunteer handbook. For questions or comments please contact our Volunteer Coordinator, at 617-338-9000 ext. 1230 or email Volunteer@brm.org.
