Ways to Give
Women and men in crisis and recovery need a lot of help. Your time, talents and treasures can go a long way toward transforming lives at risk downtown and in greater Boston.
Time - Volunteer yourself or your group
Volunteer shifts are open all year in our kitchen, in street outreach, helping with occasional projects, with faith guidance, and more. Visit our volunteer page to see all available opportunities.
Talents - What skills can you or your organization offer?
Our residents help to keep the Mission running with work shifts of their own, but sometimes we need outside expertise to complete jobs properly. If you or your organization knows carpentry, plumbing, flooring, roofing, or repairs to elevators, vehicles, and/or appliances, we would love to speak with you about projects that may be available. If you are a people person and would like to share spiritual gifts, teach a class, mentor a resident or guest, thank donors, or help in the office, we would love to hear from you. Contact our volunteer team at (617) 338-9000 ext. 1230 or firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Our greatest need right now is for financial support. Recent cuts in public funding have made our dependence upon individual support even more important. Thank you in advance for your contributions. We know it takes sacrifice to help others, and we're very grateful to you for thinking of those in need.
There are many ways to give. Online gifts are our favorite! Click the Donate Now! button in the top right corner to give online via credit card, debit card, or eCheck. On this site, you can even sign up for monthly, quarterly and annual gifts in addition to one-time gifts.
Checks are very appreciated and can be sent to our gift processing post office box at

If you received an envelope in the mail, please include the tear-off remit at the bottom of the page with your gift so we can track our efforts better.

Material Goods - Our Wish List
There are a few other items we need from time to time. Visit our wish list of items to answer the question "what else do your residents and guests need?" or even "what does the Mission need?".
Thank you again for caring for those in need!
