Recently, the Mission’s board of directors joined with community leaders to thank President and CEO John Samaan for more than two decades of service to homeless women and men of greater Boston. Under John’s leadership, the Mission has built a core of seasoned and dedicated staff, added and modified programs to reflect guest needs, steadily improved its downtown Boston headquarters, and added facilities in Boston and Dorchester to accommodate program growth.

For his dedication, John received formal accolades from Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick, Boston Mayor Thomas M. Menino, the Massachusetts State Senate, and former President Bill Clinton. On behalf of all of the neediest among us, thank you John!
