Centennial Celebration - National Recognition

A few years ago the Boston Rescue Mission celebrated 100 years of service to the Greater Boston community. Through the years the Mission has overcome many challenges but has managed to thrive and to shine a light of hope throughout the city. We are excited about our 100 plus years of history and believe the experience of our challenges will enable the Mission to serve for another 100 years and more. While we celebrate our centennial anniversary, the impact of the Boston Rescue Mission has been endorsed by many local leaders. Supporting the work of the Mission truly is a bi-partisan issue, since both sides of the political spectrum praise the Mission's impact on the individual and the community. The work of the Mission has also been recognized on a national level as you will see in the letters from former President Clinton and Vice President Gore below
